I have been on 3 hunts with Lee. Lee and his whole team are nothing but amazing and true woodsmen. They put you in stands that are active, and if the wind isn't right they opt-out from putting you in a stand even if a big bear is there till the wind is right. My last hunt with Lee was my dream moose hunt in which I was successful, Lee, and Roland went above and beyond any guides that I have dealt with prior and from what I seen on hunting shows. They also welcome you into their family, I had dinners with Lees, Leos, and Roland's wives and they treated me like their own.i have nothing but admiration and appreciation for all they do for their friends "clients" I think he should change his motto to come as a stranger and leave as family. So good luck to you my friend and brother till we hunt again.....soon

I would rate this outfitter as top notch, accommodations are sweet food is excellent and they definately know how to hunt. If you go on this hunt and dont harvest I'm most positive it would be your fault. These people definately know their area and work at full potential. No drawing straws on this hunt to get a spot these guys dont guess they know. Take a trip to New Brunswick and Hunt with lee and his crew. My son harvested 2 trophy bear in spring of 2019, we slept ate ate very well. Trust me you wont go wrong with these fine people Get your spot now they wont last long. Hunt with Jlr I'll be there. First class outfitter and guides! The lodge and the meals are 5-star. This is not a tent camp. Guides have years and years of knowledge and experience. I saw bears (plural) and moose everyday of my bear hunt. They definitely put me over hot bait sites. Excellent hospitality from the time Lee picked me up at the airport till he took me back. Leo was a great guide during my hunt and Roland is a skinning machine! Already booked a return trip. Looking forward to some more of Carmens desserts. Thanks for everything!

I have hunted bears twice in the last 3 years with Lee and his other guides. This is by far the best guided hunt I have ever been on. They are professional in every way. Great bait sites, fantastic food and just great guys to hang out with. The lodge you stay in is beautiful and comfortable. I will definitely be back. It is beautiful country to hunt in.

The accommodations at JLR are very good. The meals are great and the Hunter success rate is nearly 100%! Lee Comeau runs a first class operation. They call him the bear and moose doctor for a reason. He is the best!

I want to extend my personal gratitude to everyone here at JLR. This was my 1st bear hunt in front of the camera, and you guys pulled up all the steps. Even though we were not successfull, it was still the best camp I have ever been to. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you guys did. Spot and stalk is the only way to do it. Just know you'd better have consent. from Chad Turrell (Archer's Choice Media) Chad Turrell @Facebook.

This was my 2nd hunt with JLR. My first in 2010. I had such a incredible time on my first trip I brought four of my good friends back. I have been on several different hunts and nowhere have I seen a harder working outfitter and crew!!! There guys will do everything possible to make sure your hunt is successful one. When people say come as a hunter, leave as a friend its kinda hard to believe, but never does that statement hold truer than with this bunch of guys. We all killed very nice bears and I would recommend this hunt and crew to anyone. Thanks also the the cook Simone, a true sweetheart and great cook. Will miss you all. Your freind Mike.
